Rangers Players Rewarded

The Dayton Rangers concluded the 2004 season with a postseason awards party to congratulate everyone on an outstanding season.

Those receiving awards for the 2004 season included: Brian Robinson (Most Valuable Player), Shawn Schmitt (Cy Young Award), Ethan Goetz (Rookie of the Year), James Robinson (Gold Glove), Clint Wolf (Gold Glove), and Joe Staten (Gold Glove). And thanks to David Ortiz's HR in game 1 of the World Series, Shawn Schmitt also took home the door prize which was a glass plaque with a piece of game used jersey and bat from former Texas Rangers superstar Alex Rodriguez! Thanks to Scott Sundermeyer for hosting the party and allowing Clint to sleep off his Cardinals' blues!
