Robinson/Howard earn Week 5 honors
Redlegs captain leads sweep of Tribe
The Miami Valley Adult Baseball League recognized outfielder Jacob Robinson from the Camden Redlegs as the Milano's/Buffalo Wild Wings Player of the Week for May 15-21. Robinson's prowess to get on base helped the Redlegs earn a doubleheader sweep of the Springfield Indians on Sunday, May 15. Jake finished the afternoon 4-for-5 with four walks, five runs scored, and four RBIs. Robinson also tallied his first career grand slam, his second home run of the season.
Howard a relief for surging Blue Jays
With the Blue Jays staring at a 7-0 deficit in the first inning, Will Howard was called upon to to stop the bleeding. Howard pitched 8+ innings of shutout baseball, striking out 10 batters to allow the Jays to come back and beat the Shockers 15-7.
