Former Indians tearing up COMABL
The Central Ohio MABL welcomed a few newcomers to the Columbus Colt 45s this season. Former Springfield Indians All-Stars, Joey Herren, Joe and Mike Pickarski, Danny Colella, and Andy Gersbach have helped their new squad to a early 6-3 record.
Herren has cemented his name atop most of the offensive stat categories, leading the league in home runs, runs scored, and walks, while batting .481 so far. Gersbach is batting .441 and is 5th in the league in RBI. Joe Pickarski has belted 3 HR and is 4th in RBIs. Brother Mike is heating up with a .562 average, and Colella is among the leaders in RBI as well.
