Rangers Bats Fall Silent in 13-2 Loss
Shawn Schmitt started for the Rangers and once again fell short of much needed run support. Shawn gave up 2 unearned runs in the top of the first and shut down the Woodpeckers over the next 5 innings. The Woodpeckers worked a run off of Schmitt in the 7th before exploding for 10 runs in their final two at-bats.
Jonmarc Lippincott, Shawn Schmitt, Scott Sundermeyer, Joe Staten, and Aaron Armstrong provided the only hits for the Rangers on the day.
