The Miami Valley Cardinals won their third straight game on Tuesday night, beating the Bats 6-1. Nick Hansman and Kyle Vivier combined to strike out 16 batters on the evening. The Sox shut out the Tigers 17-0 at Rotary.
   On Thursday, June 9, the Sox got by the Shockers 5-3 on the heels of 4 no-hit innings by Tyler Fruhwirth. The Athletics poured out 18 hits and Joey Watson picked up his 3rd win as the A's shut out the Blue Jays 12-0.
