| The A's (9-3) have vaulted into first place in the Miami Division with two more wins last week, both against the Miami Valley Fusion. Late game heroics won the Father's Day outing as Matt Addis struck out 16 and Kyle Combs launched his 6th HR of the season. A's rookie Sam Dawes picked up the Tuesday night win in his MVABL debut. The Game of the Week brings the 8-3 Slammers into Fairborn for a twinbill on Sunday, June 26. |
| #2 - Miami Valley Cardinals |
The Cardinals (7-3) were rained out on Sunday and will face the Miami Valley Bats at Greeneview high school. In the previous meeting on June 7, the Cards defeated the Bats 6-1. The Cardinals are looking for a franchise-best 6-game winning streak.

The Sox (7-2) will take a 6-game winning streak into Sunday's affair against the Fusion. If you have time Sunday evening, stop out at 6pm at Rotary to see some of the league's best collegiate talent. The Fusion are looking to stop a two-game losing skid, but they will run into a Sox squad that has yet to finish worse than second place in the regular season standings since 2004. Ryan Pearson is having a strong rookie campaign for the Sox batting close to .400 |
| #4 - SD Slammers |
| The Slammers (8-3) won a wet-and-wild one at Oak Grove last Sunday, knocking off the Mariners 9-7 in 7 innings. This was crucial for the Slammers as they stay mere percentage points behind the Sox for the top spot in the Buckeye Division. The Slammers continue their tough run of opponents, going up against the Athletics on Sunday in a doubleheader. Coach Rick Anderson is among the league leaders in RBI with 20. |
| #5 - Dayton Rangers |
The Rangers (8-3) were washed out on Sunday, so they take their trek to Camden in the 2nd Annual "Backyard Battle" against the Redlegs. The Redlegs won 2 out of 3 games last year against the Rangers, so the Rangers look to win this time around as the season series starts and wraps up in a DH at Preble Shawnee.
