SPRADLIN HONORED AS P.O.W.
Easy selection for Pitcher of the Week as well
The Miami Valley Adult Baseball League recognized pitcher Matt Spradlin of the Springfield Indians as the Milano's/Buffalo Wild Wings Player of the Week for June 20-June 26. Spradlin, a 2006 graduate of Springfield Northwestern high school, tossed a 7-inning no-hitter against the Miami Valley Thunder in an 8-0 victory. He struck out nine, and did not walk a batter in improving his record to 3-2. The no-hitter was the first in the MVABL since 2006.
