CAWEIN HONORED AS P.O.W.
Redlegs' Williams is Pitcher of the Week
The Miami Valley Adult Baseball League recognized outfielder Josh Cawein of the Dayton Rangers as the Milano's/Buffalo Wild Wings Player of the Week for June 27-July 3. In 3 games, Cawein went 9-for-12 with 3 doubles and 4 home runs, scoring 6 times and driving in 10 runs. Josh, currently batting .500 in his first season in the MVABL, is the junior varsity head coach at Springboro high school.
Eric Williams picked up the Advocare Pitcher of the Week honor. Williams helped the Redlegs squelch an 8-game losing streak with a dazzling performance over the Kettering Royals on Sunday, July 3. Williams scattered 7 hits and struck out 15 batters on the day in improving his record to 2-1 on the season.
