KOSIER PICKS UP P.O.W.
Slammers get 2nd straight Pitcher award
The MVABL recognized Phil Kosier of the Beavercreek Sox as the Milano's/Buffalo Wild Wings Player of the Week for July 11-17. In three games, Phil went 8-for-10 with 8 runs scored and 8 RBIs, and legged out three doubles and two triples. Kosier is a graduate of Bradford high school and played collegiately at Defiance College.
The South Dayton Slammers pick up their second straight Advocare Pitcher of the Week honoree. This time it was rookie Jared Wagoner picking up the recognition for 6 innings of shutout ball in a 5-0 win over the Cardinals. In his MVABL debut, Wagoner scattered 2 hits and struck out 10 batters in the win.
