Mariners slugger and pitcher gain weekly honor
The MVABL recognized Chris Ranstead of the Ohio Mariners as the Milano's/Buffalo Wild Wings Player of the Week for July 18-24. In two games, Chris was 3-for-6 with 2 home runs and 5 RBIs. Ranstead is a graduate of Miamisburg high school and played collegiately at Wright State University.
Mariners' right-hander Jordan Pergrem is the Advocare Pitcher of the Week with his first MVABL victory after leading his team to a 9-2 win over the Camden Redlegs on Sunday, July 24. Pergrem tossed 7 innings, allowing 1 run and struck out 8.
