The Slammers (15-5) move back into the No. 1 slot on the heels of a 3-game winning streak, beating two of the top teams in the league along the way. The Slammers were washed out last Sunday, but picked up an extra-inning win on Tuesday, July 26th as Justin Dunlap's home run secured a 4-3 win over the Redlegs in 8 innings. After the All-Star break, the Slammers jump back into a divisional game with the Blue Jays next Tuesday night.

The Sox (17-4) continue to have the best record in the MVABL as they split a weeknight series with the Rangers. The Sox will square off against the Athletics on the Tuesday after the All-Star break in hopes of avenging an early season loss to the expansion team. |

The Cardinals (14-4) continued on their winning ways with a 12-inning victory over the Mariners on Tuesday night. The Cards are off until Sunday, August 7 when they play a key divisional DH with the Slammers that could determine top playoff billing in the Buckeye Division.

| The Mariners (11-8) won 2 of 3 games last week. The lone loss came at the hands of the Cards. Despite a 19K performance from Matt Klaus and a late 2-run HR from Chris Ranstead, it wasn't enough in the 12-inning battle. The Mariners regrouped to knock off the Shockers in extras 2 days later. The Mariners take on the Redlegs on Thursday night. |

| The Fairborn Athletics (14-4) break up the monotony of Buckeye Division teams ranked in the Who's Hot List. The A's are ahead in the Miami Division with a 3-game lead in the loss column over the Rangers. The A's were washed out last weekend, and look to get back in the swing of things with a date with the Sox on Tuesday night. |
