Rangers Defeat Reapers 15-2,
12-5
In an effort to overcome two tough
losses to the Woodpeckers and Attack Mules, the Rangers’ Gary Robinson and the
umpire ensure that there is a home plate and that the Rangers can indeed find
it on Sunday.

Game 1 saw Clint Wolf take the starting pitching
duties for the first time this season. Wolf turned in an excellent outing going
five strong and not allowing a hit. Jared Bradley relieved Wolf and surrendered
a pair of runs before closing out the game.

A big eight-run third inning was the back breaker for the
Reapers in game 1 as the Rangers sent 12 batters to plate. James Robinson and
Jonmarc Lippincott each doubled in a run in that frame and Jelani Arnold
cleared the bases with a double as well.

Clint Wolf finished 3-for-4 with a pair of runs scored.
Robinson, Arnold, Brent Collinsworth, and Gary Robinson each had multiple hits.

Jonmarc Lippincott made his 2006 pitching debut in Game 2 and
looked sharp for the first three innings, striking out three and allowing one
hit. However, Lippincott surrendered a pair of runs in the fourth before
handing off the baton to Brad Clark. Jeremy Lippincott struck out one of the
three batters he faced to end the game.
Joe Staten’s pre-game warmup proved helpful as he smacked a
grand slam homerun to right field during a six-run third inning in Game 2.

Jeremy Cunningham
finished 3-for-3 with a double and two stolen bases. Jared Bradley had 2 hits,
2 runs, and 2 stolen bases. Jonmarc Lippincott had two hits and drove in two.
