8/08/09: VICTORY TWICE AS "GRAND"

    Co-MVPs Drew York (Thunder) and Taylor Hause (Shockers) each belted a grand slam in a 14-7 victory in the inaugural MVABL-COMABL All-Star game in Columbus on Saturday, August 8. Read the recap.

    The MVABL and COMABL (Columbus) have reached an agreement to play an intra-state All-Star Game on Saturday, August 8 at 1pm at Thomas Worthington high school.
    The following players have been selected to participate in this inaugural event:
    1B - John Milliron (Indians), Jonmarc Lippincott (Rangers); 2B - Chris Flaherty (Dragons), Phil Crisp (Astros); SS - Steve Marshall (Rangers), Brandon Ward (Sox); 3B - Doc Hayes (Shockers); OF - Matt Owens (Slammers), Clint Wolf (Rangers), Taylor Hause (Shockers), Andrew Verrett (Slammers), Matt Addis (Astros); C - Drew York (Thunder), Thomas Fluty (Shockers), David Riley (Sox); P - Brad Clark (Rangers), TJ Lee (Dragons), Jonathan Silverman (Rangers), Rob Swihart (Sox), Mitch Jones (Sox); DH - Chris Jergens (Royals).
