WC Shockers make it 10 straight
The Shockers have reeled off 10 straight victories to put them percentage points above the Royals for second place in the playoff race. The Shockers knocked off the Slammers 16-7 at Carleton Davidson Stadium on Sunday, August 8. The Shockers have not lost a game since losing to the Sox on June 17.
The Redlegs have won 6 of their last 7 games, knocking off the Thunder 21-9 at Preble Shawnee. The win moves the Camden club into 4th place in the playoff standings.
The Astros and Dragons played a tightly contested game as the Astros rebounded from Tuesday night's loss with a 9-7 win. The Royals doubled up the 'Stros in the second game of a split DH at Lebanon, winning 22-12.
