9/12/10: ALL-MVABL TEAMS ANNOUNCED

Five new First Teamers

   The 2010 All-MVABL Teams have been announced. Rangers' outfielder highlights the list with his 5th straight First Team selection. Drew York of the Thunder picked up his 3rd straight First Team honor, but his first as a second baseman. Astros' outfielder PJ Dobbins is the only other 3-time honoree, picking up a Second Team mention.
   Several first-timers are featured on the All-MVABL First Team, including Sox catcher Nate Bowles, Slammers outfielder Justin Dunlap, and three Shockers players - first baseman Josh Allen, shortstop Chad Paden, and pitcher Scott Garrett.
   Redlegs' Jacob Robinson picked up his first First Team selection as an outfielder. Robinson previously was a First Teamer as a pitcher with the Rangers in 2008. Rangers' third baseman Robert Riley earned the other First Team pick, after being on the Second Team in 2009.
   The Second Team also had a few first-time honorees in pitcher Jonathan Silverman of the Rangers, Indians outfielder Donnie Black and third baseman Reston Wilson, and Slammers outfielder Chris Copeland..
