2007 All-Star Game
The five Rangers All-Stars represented themselves well at
Sunday's All-Star game. Jacob Robinson picked up the game's Defensive Player
award with two outstanding diving catches at shortstop. Joe Staten was an early
candidate for game MVP finishing 2-for-4 on the day with two runs scored and an
RBI. Clint Wolf added a double and walk to the game
and scored twice. Brad Clark pitched 3 strong innings on the mound allowing one
earned run. And even though Jared Bradley went hitless on the day, he did make
a nice tag at second base to catch a runner from stealing second. The Rangers
were on the winning side of the game as the Nationals won 11-4. Congratulations
to everyone that participated, and thanks to all of the Rangers families who
endured the afternoon heat.
