Rangers Alumni Game

Thanks to all the current and former Rangers players (and families) who came out Sunday, August 10, 2008 for the inaugural Rangers Alumni Game. Rangers Hall-of-Famers Jake Kingsolver and Rob Hoover made their much-anticipated returns to the ball diamond, as did former greats Matt Caraway, Matthew Laird, Steve Marshall and Shawn Schmitt. The game had several great moments including Jacob Robinson's two inside-the-park home runs, Aaron Armstrong's lengthy triple, James Robinson's left-handed single off Joe, the Lippincott brothers wearing three Hoover fastballs, and Brad Clark putting on an error display. Thanks again to everyone who could attend and hopefully we can maybe turn this into an annual event!
