Thank you for your interest in the Miami Valley Adult Baseball League (MVABL)! 2010 will be our 16th year of operation here in the Dayton area, and we are always looking to add players and especially teams to our 12-team league.

This league was created to provide for adults 18 years old and over an alternative to softball and enable us to play the game we all grew up playing. The league fee this year will be $200 per player, and will cover a 25+ game schedule, fields, baseballs, umpires, insurance, and your team's entry into our postseason tournament. The fee will not cover your uniform, which can vary in prices, depending on which team you are on.

The season usually begins the Sunday or two after Easter, and runs through August, with the playoffs ending in September. However, if we have excessive rainouts, the regular season may extend into September. Each team can expect to play every Sunday as early as 10AM, and as late as 7PM. Your team will also have a few games during the week under the lights, which will be played either Tuesday or Thursday starting as early as 6:30PM or as late as 8:30PM. Each weekend game is 9 innings and each weekday game is 7 innings.

Adult attitudes must always prevail, no matter how competitive any league is. The responsibility that this ethic sustains will remain at the responsibility of the League President and anyone who abuses the league’s code can be suspended, fined, or expelled from the league.
