NICK GILMORE
DAYTON RANGERS

Taking over for 25-year veteran Jonmarc Lippincott, Gilmore didn't disappoint in his first year at the helm of the Dayton Rangers. Nick led his team to a 19-7 season, finishing 2nd during the regular season which was the team's 6th Top-2 finish all-time. Gilmore became the 3rd manager in league history to earn COTY honors during the same season in which his team also won the league championship (Jacob Robinson 2016, Chaz DeShayes 2006). His 19 wins are 2nd most all-time in league history by a rookie skipper. Nick managed a pitching staff that produced 10 wins in relief, a team-record 9 saves, a franchise-low 3.30 ERA, and a Rangers' record of 217 strikeouts.
