Jeff received 6 first place votes in easily winning his first Cy Young Award, and became the third Slammers pitcher to win the award (Dan Comes 2016, Sean Casey 2010). Beall became the first pitcher in league history to win the Triple Crown, leading the league in wins (12), ERA (1.50), and strikeouts (115). Jeff finished with a league-high 3 shutouts, including a 5-inning perfect game against the Knights. Jeff also broke the single-season record for wins by going a perfect 12-0 on the year.
