TANNER LILLY/TODD BARHORST
SOUTH DAYTON SLAMMERS

For the second straight year, we have Playoff Co-MVPs. Following last season's pitching dominance from Jon Venters
and Jeff Beall, the Slammers' rolled through this season's playoffs primarily with a dominant offense, led by Todd
Barhorst and Tanner Lilly. Barhorst batted .700, scored 13 times and drove in 12. The extra-base hits leader from
the regular season added to his total with a pair of doubles, a triple, and 3 home runs, including a grand slam.
The rookie Lilly also scorched the ball in the postseason, hitting .545 with 4 doubles, while scoring 14 runs and
finishing with 13 RBIs. Both of his playoff long balls were in the championship series.
