RYAN MACFARLANE
XENIA SCOUTS

Ryan MacFarlane picked up his first Coach of the Year award after guiding the Xenia Scouts to a 12-9 record in his first season at the reins. With a Cardinals franchise looking for a new leader in the offseason, Ryan stepped up to turn a ballclub with 9 combined wins in its first two seasons into a legitimate contender for years to come. He guided the Scouts to an 8-2 start to the 2020 season en route to a No. 4 seed in the playoffs. MacFarlane is the third rookie skipper to take home this honor, following Rick Anderson (Slammers, 2009) and Jacob Robinson (Redlegs, 2010), and fell just 2 points shy of a near unanimous vote.
