INTERESTED IN PLAYING IN 2012?

     New Teams: If you are interested in entering a team into the MVABL for the 2012 season, please email the Director of Operations at jlippincott@hotmail.com for more information. Please provide any background information that would provide credibility on your qualifications as a baseball coach. Deadline to enter a team in the MVABL for the 2012 season is March 1st.

     New Players: If you would like to be added to the Tryout List for 2012 as a potential player for the upcoming season, please email the Director of Operations as soon as possible at jlippincott@hotmail.com.

Information about the 2012 League Tryout: The official League Tryout will be held on Sunday, Feb. 26 at Action Sports Center in Dayton from 1-3:30pm. Click on the "Field Directions" link on the left for directions to Action Sports. You will have the chance to hit, field ground balls, and pitch. All players should try to arrive 30 minutes early to sign paperwork. In addition, you will be required to bring $50 with you to the Tryout which will act as a deposit for your league fees. If you do not have the deposit, you will be allowed to try out, but the chances of getting drafted diminish as coaches take into account the ability to pay league fees. The total league fee cost for new players coming out of the draft will be $200 (Jersey and hat costs will differ depending on the team that drafts you). The draft will take place after the Tryout is complete and, if you get drafted, your coach will contact you with more information. If, on the slight chance you do not get drafted, your $50 deposit will be refunded and mailed back to you.

Information about the Scouting Day workout session: The 2012 League Workout will occur on Sunday, February 12 from 1-2:30pm at Extra Innings in Miamisburg. This will give potential players the opportunity to shake the rust off and take some swings in the cages, or throw off a mound.
