I apologize to those sitting on pins waiting for an update on the game. Had some issues to deal with but all is well. The Wild Boars opened the season with a W over the Machine 17 to 5 The Boars overcame some issues mostly with our relief pitcher as they resulted in 4 of the 5 runs.

Dylan Bower took the start and exited after 4 with a 5 to 1 advantage. New Boars pitcher Nick Long picked up the win giving up 2 runs on a Jake Banks blast. But the Boars bats blasted 7 runs and continued till they had added 17.

New Boars pitcher Bryce Heller was a little shaky in his debut but managed to hold on allowing 2 runs to give the Machine 5.

Drew Scarberry and Kevin Roy (NP) pick up Offensive Players of the Game Scarberry blew the game up with a blast double netting 3 RBIs While Roy matched that with a Double to the fence but only plated 1 RBI. Both Drew and Kevin (some of the older guys) show that age is just a number.

Micah Stewart takes Defensive Player of the Game, the Boars returning 2nd Baseman Shortstop was everywhere Sunday including a blooper that he ran down to double up 2 Machine players. But his play of the day was roller up the middle diving for it flipping it to Seibert for the out.
